In 1609 he set off to Netherlands  with a crew of 20.  In 1610 he was hire to find the Northwest Passage . In 1610 he finally got to leave the Arctic. He had to stay there for many months .  I think he got sick from being there to long .Then when he was set free by him self and it got worst and he died.
